Introduction
The section of
SPOLIA dedicated to history will have different tasks.
First, we will present reviews on different books and articles dealing
with medieval history.
Then, we will inform with reports about conventions, hoping in this way
to offer a useful service since the documents of conferences are usually
published very late.
Finally, we will present ongoing and unpublished research (theses, doctoral
dissertations etc.)
Specific directors
will coordinate the following subsections, in which the space will be
organised:
- history of society and economy
- history of institutions
- history of religion
- history of law.
- History of the Canonical Law
We hope that this
section, more than a source of information, will become a meeting point
for specialist and lovers of medieval history, interested in similar themes,
for a meaningfull discussion.
